The Performing Arts faculty of Notre Dame put on their annual Summer Showcase as part of the school's summer festival. What a treat the audience had! Over three and a half hours of Dance, Drama and Music from over sixty students. During the three acts they were treated to a real feast of groups and soloists from all year groups. Well done to everyone who took part from the Performing Arts Team. You can see some pictures from the evening in the gallery below.

In other news, this week the Kielder team have been out defending their title of South Yorkshire champions at Abbeydale Sports Club. The Kielder team is made up of four able bodied students and four students with disabilities who are put through a series of challenges and judged on their planning, team work and evaluation. The competition was very close this year and there was only two points in it going into the final challenge, but once again Notre Dame came away victorious! The team were praised for their excellent team work and evaluation. They will continue on to the national Kielder final which will be held over a weekend in Laches Wood next year.
