Caring for the Memorial Garden

memorial6 web

Some students form Notre Dame's 1804 Society recently took it upon themselves to tidy up the school's Memorial Garden. This is a special place where staff and students go to reflect, and to pray for relatives and friends who have passed away. It is also a place where we as a school remember the former staff and students from Notre Dame who have died. Each deceased member of staff and student has a plaque displayed on the memorial garden wall in their memory. The 1804 Socioety chose to do this because the area had become overgrown and they wanted to make it look more attractive for those who visit.
