Update 26th November 2021:
You may have seen on local news that Stagecoach drivers are taking industrial action against their employers next week which means the majority of their services in Sheffield will not be running during our next school week 29th November to 3rd December.
This includes the 120 service (Stagecoach) that some of our students catch both to and from school.
The 120 (First) services will still run as normal.
This means there will be fewer 120 services running next week so students that normally catch this service will need to allow for longer journey times and greater demand in the morning and afternoon.
Our dedicated school services will not be affected but these already run to capacity and priority will have to be given to those who catch these every day.
First have informed us that pre-paid Stagecoach tickets will not be accepted on First Services next week unless they are the Multi-Travel Ticket that is accepted on both First and Stagecoach services.
We will make allowances for the fact that students who normally catch the 120 in the mornings may have their arrival time at school affected.
We will gather students who normally catch the 120 in the Salle at the end of each day to help mitigate for increased overcrowding at the public bus stop with less services running and ensure that all children are able to safely get home.
The following links have been given to us by SYPTE to share with you for further information.
