The next group of students from the Faith in Action team went to St. John’s Church Hall to gather for lunch and social time with parishioners and the elderly, fostering bonds.
Reverend Matthew, alongside Claire, Steve, and their dedicated team, met us with smiles and welcomed us to the lunch.
The warmth and hospitality extended by everyone made us feel very welcome. Our young people and the elderly at St John’s had lunch together and fostered meaningful connections. This just illustrated the spirit of community and inclusivity that lies at the heart of St. John’s and our Notre Dame school.
Next week another group of students from the Faith in Action team will meet for lunch in St John’s hall. It is at times like this where we celebrate these moments of connection between the church and school and the young and the old.
