2021-22 Key stage 4 (end of secondary school) results

Progress 8 Score  = 0.52

This means that on average pupils at Notre Dame made just over half a grade more progress in each subject by the end of Y11 than students at other schools.

Attainment in English and Maths = 70%

This is the percentage of pupils achieving a grade 5 (strong pass) or above in both GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics.

English Baccalaureate (EBacc) average point score = 4.98

This is the average grade obtained across English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Languages. Our actual figure increases when you include GCSEs taken by pupils in Y10 (GCSEs taken in Y10 ‘count’ for the pupils, but are not counted in school performance tables published by the Secretary of State this year).

Percentage of pupils that enter the EBacc = 58%

This is the percentage of pupils that enter GCSEs in each of English, Maths, a Science, a Humanity and a Language. Our actual figure again increases when we include GCSEs taken by pupils in Y10.

The percentage of pupils staying in education or going into employment after key stage 4 (pupil destinations) = 97%

This is the percentage of pupils that remain in education or training for a period of 2 terms after finishing Y11. The most recent published data is for pupils who finished key stage 4 in 2020

This represents the proportion of courses that were completed once started.
