Recently, our Year 8 Faith in Action Team attended their next session at All Saints School, led by Sue McDonald, Director for Youth in Hallam. The theme of the morning was, “Our Active Love Builds the Kingdom of God,” which inspired our young people to explore the ways in which their actions can make a real difference in the world.
The session encouraged students to reflect on the concept of the kingdom of God, drawing inspiration from the remarkable life of the Saints, whose faith in action was demonstrated through selfless service to other people. Through thoughtful discussion and reflection, students considered how their own actions, however small, can contribute to building God’s kingdom on earth. Both groups, made a symbol of how the Kingdom of God was perceived by them.
It was a morning of inspiration, learning, and spiritual growth, leaving students motivated to live out their faith through service and compassion in their daily lives.
