Students in Y7 visited the Porter Brook Care Home on the 12th December, Darwin House on the 14th December and Bridgedale House on the 15th December to meet the residents, sing Christmas carols, spread holiday cheer and bring joy to the residents.
Singing Christmas carols can evoke nostalgic feelings, create a sense of togetherness, and brighten the spirits of the residents.
It was a great opportunity for students to engage in community service, develop empathy, and understand the importance of giving back to the community.
