The Hallam Diocese came together at the Hub to celebrate the remarkable achievements of students who have completed their Faith in Action Awards. The atmosphere was filled with pride and joy as four Year 8 students proudly received their Bronze Faith in Action Awards, and one Year 12 student was honoured with the prestigious Gold Award.
Bishop Ralph led the liturgy and ceremony together with Sue McDonald, youth director. Bishop Ralph, presented the awards with the support of Mr. Dewhurst, Acting Director of Schools (Primary); Catholic Life and Religious Education Adviser; and Inspection Coordinator. Their presence and words of encouragement added a special significance to the event, inspiring all those in attendance.
The chaplains and other staff from the diocese were also present, beaming with pride at their students’ accomplishments. Each student was presented with a certificate, received feedback on their final assessment, and was awarded a lovely badge to commemorate their hard work and dedication.
The celebration continued with a gorgeous buffet, featuring a delightful array of dishes and the most exquisite cake. It was a perfect ending to a day filled with gratitude and community spirit.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this event a success. Your efforts and support have not only recognized the students’ achievements but have also strengthened our community’s faith and unity.
God bless you all.
