On Friday 14th restart a heart day was celebrated in schools around the country. Restart a Heart Day raises awareness about cardiac arrest and helps people to learn CPR, giving them life saving skills and the confidence to use them. Each year volunteers from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service give up their time to come to our school and give the Y7 students the chance to learn CPR, they always enjoy the opportunity but also learn important skills that could one day save a life.
