Before the summer holidays, our students successfully completed either their Bronze or Silver Faith in Action Award, and a special celebration event was held last week at Blessed Trinity Church, Wickersley, to mark their achievement.
The evening began with Mass, celebrated by Fr Richard, in thanksgiving for the dedication and commitment of young people from across the Hallam Diocese who had completed the award. We were also delighted to be joined by Sue McDonald, the Diocesan Youth Director. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Sue for the invaluable support she has given in helping our young people achieve this milestone.
After Mass, the community came together to share a buffet, with the celebratory cake proving to be a highlight of the evening! Thanks to Sue for organising.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their commitment and hard work in living out their faith through action. Their award is a true testament to their dedication, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow and shine in the future. Our young people are already asking when they can start their silver or gold award!
Thank you and God bless.
