We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Fr May, a retired priest of our Hallam Diocese, has recently celebrated an incredible milestone: 75 years of priesthood.
Although Fr May chose to mark this special occasion with a private Mass, he was showered with messages of congratulations and love from across the diocese. His faithful service and dedication over so many decades are a true testament to his unwavering commitment to God and His people.
At 99 years old, Fr May remains a shining example of humility, faith, and kindness. We are truly blessed to have such a treasure among us in our diocese. His life and ministry are a reminder of the countless blessings God bestows upon us, and I thank God each day for Fr May. A wonderful man and an inspiration to us all.
