2023-24 Key stage 4 (end of secondary school) results

Progress 8 Score = 0.69

This means that on average pupils at Notre Dame made just under three-quarters of a grade more progress in each subject by the end of Y11 than students at other schools.

Attainment 8 = 52.9

Attainment in English and Maths = 67%

This is the percentage of pupils achieving a grade 5 (strong pass) or above in both GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics.

English Baccalaureate (EBacc) average point score = 5.18

This is the average grade obtained across English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Languages.

Percentage of pupils that enter the EBacc = 52%

This is the percentage of pupils that enter GCSEs in each of English, Maths, a Science, a Humanity and a Language.

The percentage of pupils staying in education or going into employment after key stage 4 (pupil destinations) = 99%

This is the percentage of pupils that remain in education or training for a period of 2 terms after finishing Y11. The most recent published data is for pupils who finished key stage 4 in 2022

Progress Score (Value added):  0.21 (Confidence interval: 0.12 to 0.3)

Attainment (Average points) = 34.73 (Sheffield state-funded school/college average: 33.93)

This represents an ‘average’ grade of C+

Retention (% of students retained to the end of their main course of study) = 92% (of 215 students)

This measure is based on whether a student completed the learning activities for the ‘core aim’ (or main learning aim) of their study programme, which was an A level.
